Installing Canada Flash Map on Your Site

It will take you just a few minutes to place Canada Flash Map on your site. Simply download .zip archive with necessary files and put them on your server. We recommend to put all files to the same folder on server and use the sample_map.html file, which is also included to the trial package, for the initial testing and configuration of the map size. After that, just copy appropriate part of html code from the sample_map.html and put in on your web page where you want map to be displayed. Make sure you've specified the full server path to all files from .zip archive in your new .html file.

Configuring Canada Flash Map's appearance and functionality

Configuring size.

Map size is configured through the .html file. At sample_map.html file it's line 10 of the code:

First value is for the width and second velue is for the height of the map, so you should change them proportionally.

Configuring look and feel.

Map's appearance and functionality is configured through the setting.xml file. Click here for detailed description of each tag.
