The Notre Dame Cathedral which is translated as "Our Lady" is a Gothic structure that was started in 1163 and completed in the middle of the 14th century. The Notre Dame is a prominent feature among Paris' tourist attractions and boasts a striking view of Paris from the top of its towers. Notre Dame is characterized by its two wide towers, sculptures, arches, stained glass windows and stone gargoyles. It should also not be forgotten that this is home to Quasimodo, the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" in Victor Hugo's famous work. Visitors may enter the building for free, although there is an entrance charge for those who wish to enter and climb the towers.

Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees
